Solution !MSI warranty is based on the product's serial number. Please keep records of the serial numbers in case of failure to provide it from the original serial number sticker!

!Please always check when purchasing goods from large retailers as some sell MSI goods with their own warranty only (e.g: Argos). Such items do not come with any MSI warranty!


Components (mainboards, graphic cards, etc):
Type:RTB
MSI UK provides two year limited UK warranty on most components* to our direct customers (distributors, retailers, e-tailers etc.**); warranty starts on the day it ships from MSI UK.

Please always contact your place of purchase first regarding any warranty related issues and always check the warranty agreement you make with them by purchasing the product.

Notebooks:
Type:C&R
MSI UK Notebooks carry two year global, direct, manufacturer warranty*** for most customers**** (direct, non direct/end users).
With non direct customers/end users MSI UK acts as a repair centre only.

Netbooks:
Please check warranty terms when purchasing as depending on models warranty varies from 1-2 years. Detailed terms you can find in the warranty booklet which comes with every unit.

*server products carry 3 years warranty, barebones carry only 1 year warranty.
**if your place of purchase is unwilling to help or it's warranty has ended and the item is still in our 24 months warranty period we can offer RMA as an extra service to end users.
***please read your '2 years limited Warranty Service Book' for details due to some parts carry 1 year and other 3 months warranty only.
****units purchased from Argos carry only their own warranty, please always check warranty terms&conditions of the shop before purchasing your MSI products.

how can i exchange my graphics card without a receipt. i was told by the shop manager to contact msi to get some form of conformation e-mail to present to him but i am having trouble getting hold of MSI

Please simply create a ticket on the 'Parts & Returns (RMA)' page including any available history between you and your place of purchase and we'll assist. Please make sure you will include the products serial number.

Hi Ho, Can YOU PLEASE TELL me which MSI-AMD Mother Board will suite this CPU? I understand that it is causing problems with it's 140w's of heat etc or am I wrong?

Please check our latest AMD boards on oir site as there are many that could suit your needs, the DKA, KA series are the latest at the moment. Once on the chosen mobos site, please check CPU compatibility. Some bords work with certain CPU's after BIOS update which version will be on these support lists.

what is MSI UK adress so i can return a motherboard under rma? It has gone past its purchase warranty from ebuyer so my only option is to post it back to MSI for a reconditioned replacement...

Client has provided the following information:
"My computer has a Pentium D Processor 2.8, the Motherboard is MSI 7255 Ver 1.
It was working fine for a few weeks, I put it to sleep and it never awoke.
I have checked the power supply and seems to be working.
I can only assume that the processor or the motherboard had failed."

Do you still sell this motherboard and processor? If yes where can I obtain it here in the UK?

Simon: no, those are End Of Life, we do not have buffer of P4 boards in UK. I'm afraid it might be time for an upgrade or you can always search the web.

My laptop which is an msi pr600 has a bit of a problem everything is working fine such as speed and the system is doing everything. The keypads are a bit bad as i have to press so many times to get one key working and where i close my laptop the close clciking things to ensure my laptops closed are both broken off and im not sure if i would get the warrentey for that. i have a 2 year msi warrenty which is still valid.

If the keys are not responsive than there is a problem. Could the keyboard issue or maybe a spilled juice? As for the clips, I'm afraid that would be a chargeable repairs to get it fixed. For both issues please simply call our notebook team or create a ticket

I didn't take out cover insurance when I bought my netbook, and got a little crack in the corner, any way I can fix it?

Our repair centre can fix it for a charge, otherwise a good plastic purpose glue and a steady hand should do :)
